Meet the Team

Mark Ricciardo MRCVS (OV)

Mark is originally from Australia and joined the West Ham team in November 2002. During this time he has become a popular vet with both clients and pets alike and has established a loyal following amongst his clients.

Mark is always available to speak to his clients and prides himself on offering a very personal service. He has a keen interest in both small animal medicine and surgery and has completed a General Practice Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.  Mark is currently working towards completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Caroline Frith BVMS MRCVS

Caroline is the second vet at West Ham and works at the practice on  Wednesdays to allow Mark a well-earned rest!

Caroline qualified from Glasgow in 2000 and then spent her first year in practice in upstate New York in a cat hospital before returning to the UK and working in rural Buckinghamshire for three years. After travelling and working as a locum vet for a year Caroline settled in London and for seven years worked in Romford, with time off to have her two children. She joined the Goddard Group in 2013.

Caroline has a particular interest in rabbit nutrition and preventative healthcare and has a senior cat called Wilbur. When she is not working or being Mum Caroline enjoys running, cooking and enjoying a good coffee!


Emma Bentley RVN

Emma joined the Goddard Group in January 2005, already having had a wealth of experience as a Veterinary Nurse including time spent specialising as an orthopaedic nurse. Emma is a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse [RVN] and also a qualified Assessor for the RVN training course and spends a lot of time supporting trainee nurses throughout the Goddard Veterinary Group.

Charlotte Briggs SVN

Charlotte joined the team at West Ham having transferred from the surgery in Mile End.  She joined the Goddard Group in 2012 coming from a career in customer services and is now pursuing her long time dream of becoming a Veterinary Nurse.  After completing her VCA training,Charlotte commenced her veterinary nurse training in 2015. She has owned many pets since she was young and is now the proud owner of a bearded dragon called Stumpy and a rescued stray called Smudge.


Claire Flynn - Nursing Assistant

Claire joined the team at West Ham team in September 2015 having moved to London from Ireland where she worked as a veterinary assistant in a very busy practice gaining lots of experience.   Claire has always loved animals and really enjoys the caring aspect of the job.  Claire currently has no pets but is sure that will change!  Claire is planning on a career in veterinary nursing and is looking forward to beginning her training in the future.  In her spare time Claire enjoys exploring London and going for walks in the parks and enjoying all that London has to offer.

Chloe Love-Allotey - Nursing Assistant

Chloe has recently joined the Goddard Group having previously worked as an account executive at a magazine publishers.  Chloe opted for a career change as she wanted to do something rewarding and something that she is passionate about.  Chloe is hoping to go on to complete her studies to qualify firstly as a Veterinary Care Assistant and ultimately a Veterinary Nurse.  In her spare time Chloe like to write poetry, swim and travel.
